What you will do

• Design and maintain high-performance backend services for content discovery and AI-powered features.
• Build and operate scalable microservices handling millions of daily requests with low latency and high reliability.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into production using RAG architectures, prompt orchestration, and agentic workflows.
• Optimize data pipelines for content indexing, real-time analytics, and ML feature serving.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and frontend engineers to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
• Drive engineering best practices through code reviews, comprehensive testing, and architectural improvements.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of backend software development experience with strong proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, and software frameworks.
• Strong experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and Redis.
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and high-throughput system design.
• Must be based in or able to work from Taipei, Taiwan (Onsite or Remote).
