Location: Remote - USA only

What you will do

  • Lead low-level Qualcomm Android BSP bring-up, devicetree modifications, and pSIM framework integrations for camera platforms.
  • Architect and customize bootloaders (XBL, ABL) to optimize device boot security and efficiency.
  • Develop and debug firmware for Application Digital Signal Processors aligned with system requirements.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineering and validation teams on hardware integration and automated testing.
  • Analyze system logs and performance traces to eliminate latency and memory bottlenecks.
  • Deploy stable operating system builds directly to hardware and run CI builds.

Requirements

  • Must be located in the USA or able to work remotely within the USA
  • Mastery of C development and Linux kernel internals including memory and power management.
  • Hands-on experience with Qualcomm chipset bring-up, devicetrees, and Android system architecture.
  • Proficiency in bootloader development and customization (XBL, ABL).
  • Experience developing or debugging firmware for Application Digital Signal Processors.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related field.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Linux kernel drivers for SPI/I2C/UART, Rust, C++, or Qualcomm proprietary subsystems.
