Salary: $130,000 – $160,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Advance the Android-based system stack with a focus on cellular connectivity and 5G upgrades.
• Engineer low-level AOSP routines, including image partitioning, file systems, and SELinux policies.
• Optimize cellular stack integrations, including RIL components, AT commands, and eSIM configurations.
• Analyze device telemetry and network metrics to diagnose fleet anomalies across hardware and RF environments.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Product, and Infrastructure teams to design power-aware connectivity states.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• Practical experience in embedded systems or OS-level development with deep knowledge of AOSP internals.
• Hands-on expertise with cellular networking stacks (LTE/5G modems, RIL, AT commands, SIM/eSIM).
• Technical understanding of SELinux security policies and system access debugging.
• Proficiency in networking protocols including TCP/IP, routing, and Wi-Fi architectures.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Qualcomm chipsets and software tools.
• Experience analyzing cellular telemetry logs.
