Autonomy Development Engineer (Robotics): Developing machine collision mitigation and avoidance systems with an accent on software requirements, hardware integration, and robotic tool maintenance. Location: Must be based in Mossville, IL or Irving, TX (Onsite)
Salary: $97,530 - $158,480

What you will do
- Participate in the design and development of application software for autonomous systems.
- Document architecture specifications, software design descriptions, and verification plans.
- Debug, test, and maintain software and hardware systems for robotic and driver monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with hardware component teams and testing teams to ensure system reliability.
- Contribute to the verification and validation process for safety-critical features.
Requirements
- Must be able to work onsite full-time in Mossville, IL or Irving, TX.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python for software development and debugging.
- Experience with the software development life cycle and structured methodologies.
- Proven experience in the mining or construction industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.
Nice to have
- Experience with machine applications and software development.
- Prior test verification experience with camera and radar detect sensors.
- DevOps experience.
