What you will do

• Refactor and modularize scientific Python code to improve maintainability and documentation.
• Package trained models and inference pipelines into portable software artifacts using Docker.
• Build reproducible inference pipelines for deployment in external research and hospital organizations.
• Develop tools that allow researchers and clinicians to interact with AI models in a controlled, privacy-aware manner.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to support the software and AI model development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with data scientists, computational biologists, and clinicians to translate research requirements into robust software systems.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or equivalent experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with scientific libraries like NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Familiarity with machine learning workflows, including preprocessing, model inference, and reproducibility.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Experience with Git and collaborative software development practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with MLOps, model packaging, or deployment in clinical/research environments.
• Familiarity with workflow management tools like Nextflow, Snakemake, or Airflow.
• Experience with Kubernetes or production deployment environments.
• Knowledge of secure or privacy-aware analysis workflows.
• Experience contributing to open-source scientific software.
