What you will do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of process engineers, setting priorities and performance expectations.
  • Drive the process engineering roadmap from EVT/DVT through PVT and mass production ramp.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and quality teams to drive Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFM/DFA).
  • Lead complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis using DOE, SPC, 8D, and 5-Why.
  • Establish process capability (Cp/Cpk, GR&R) and maintain core documentation including PFMEAs and control plans.
  • Manage relationships with global factory partners to ensure successful ramp-up and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work on-site in Oulu, Finland.
  • Strong people leadership experience with a track record of developing technical talent.
  • Proven consumer electronics manufacturing experience with miniature electronics assemblies (adhesives, flex/PCB, automation).
  • Deep expertise in process development, characterization, and industrialization in high-volume manufacturing.
  • Strong track record in root-cause analysis and supporting NPI builds.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
