What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of user-facing features across payroll, tax, and accounting products.
• Design and implement scalable services from specification through production deployment.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to translate requirements into pragmatic, testable solutions.
• Drive engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing strategies, and documentation.
• Establish and maintain observability for services to ensure high reliability and performance.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and ownership.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience with product development responsibility.
• Fluency in two or more of TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Python.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end features and services in production.
• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD, feature flags, and rollout practices.
• Experience applying domain-driven design principles in complex business domains.
• Must be authorised to work in Germany or be able to obtain relevant permits.
