Frontend Engineer (React)

Location: Hybrid in Paris, France (Remote work allowed for a few days a week)

Salary: €47K – €58K

What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable React applications and reusable component libraries.
• Build responsive, accessible interfaces following UI/UX best practices and WCAG standards.
• Write clean, maintainable code and implement unit, integration, and E2E tests using TDD.
• Collaborate with PMs, Designers, and Backend developers within a cross-functional squad.
• Optimize application performance, bundle size, and loading times.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and implement state management/caching strategies.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of professional front-end development experience.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and the React ecosystem (Hooks, Context, Router).
• Proficiency with state management (Redux, Zustand, TanStack Query) and REST APIs.
• Experience with CSS (Modules, Styled Components, Tailwind) and build tools (Webpack, Vite).
• Fluent in both French and English.
• Must be based in or able to work from Paris, France.

Nice to have

• Experience with Storybook for design systems.
• Strong knowledge of Core Web Vitals and performance monitoring.
