TL;DR
Performance & Reward Expert (Compensation & Benefits): Leading global reward projects and developing compensation frameworks with an accent on EU pay transparency, job architecture, and gender pay gap analysis. Focus on modelling salary cycles, harmonising Mercer-based job structures, and advising People & Culture stakeholders across countries.

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid schedule with home office possible 2 days a week

Basic wage component: €3,200 gross per month minimum

hirify.global develops sustainable waste-to-X infrastructure that transforms waste into energy, heat, hydrogen, fertilizer, and other resources.

What you will do

  • Lead global Compensation & Benefits projects, including EU Pay Transparency Directive implementation.
  • Review job evaluation frameworks and harmonise Mercer-based global job architecture across acquisitions and business lines.
  • Deliver gender pay gap analysis, reporting, and remediation planning.
  • Support annual compensation cycles, bonus processes, market benchmarking, modelling, tools, and communications.
  • Advise People & Culture stakeholders and improve reward policies, analytics, and frameworks.

Requirements

  • University degree in HR, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of Compensation & Benefits experience, preferably in a global environment.
  • Experience delivering large-scale reward projects, including pay equity, job architecture, benefits, or incentive design.
  • Strong knowledge of the EU Pay Transparency Directive and multi-country compensation practices.
  • Experience with job evaluation frameworks and advanced Excel modelling and data reconciliation skills.
  • Very good English is required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Mercer IPE.
  • Additional European language skills, such as German.
