What you will do

• Serve as the rendering expert for a new AAA MMO project.
• Build and evolve the engine technology and rendering systems that power the game.
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and producers to realize the overall visual vision.
• Monitor and increase the performance of the game client.
• Implement and improve tools for artists across multiple platforms.
• Identify and resolve pipeline issues and areas for improvement.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional programming experience as a rendering engineer.
• 2+ years of experience as a technical lead.
• Experience working with game engines such as Unreal or Unity.
• Experience with multithreaded programming and MMO development.
• BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Familiarity working in an agile environment.

Nice to have

• Expertise in low-level C++ optimization.
• Experience with Nanite and procedural content generation tools (e.g., Houdini, UE5 PCG).
• Familiarity with extending tools like Maya.
• Experience with asset pipelines, version control, and data-driven rendering architectures.
