AI-first QA Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Define and lead the automation strategy based on risk and scalability.
• Utilize an AI tool set daily to accelerate test design, automation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality early in the development lifecycle.
• Maintain automation frameworks and QA tools to ensure long-term stability and maintainability.
• Mentor team members to grow QA expertise across the engineering organization.

Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in QA automation.
• Must be based in Serbia.
• Proficiency in Playwright and TypeScript (or another OOP language).
• Strong experience in REST API testing and understanding of Unit, Integration, and E2E test layers.
• Advanced English (C1) written and spoken.
• Experience with Git, branching strategies, and merge request workflows.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python.
• Familiarity with Selenium.
• Basic understanding of GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with load/performance testing tools like Locust or K6.
