Sr. Engineer II - Windows Sensor (Remote, EUR)

What you will do

• Partner with the Windows kernel mode sensor development team on architecture and strategy for next-generation anti-virus and enhanced detection & response security.
• Develop new product concepts and ship major features and releases.
• Support cross-platform deliverables (Windows, Mac, Linux) by designing and building shared components.
• Own features from design to delivery, including participation in end-of-sprint product demos.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams across locations in a distributed environment.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of C++ and Windows OS kernel development.
• Strong low-level OS internals expertise in Windows, Mac OS, or Linux.
• Experience debugging memory corruptions, process contention, and system performance issues.
• Experience working with teams to ship major features and releases.
• Ability to lead, mentor, communicate, and collaborate effectively in a distributed team.

Nice to have

• OS system expertise for core subsystems such as WFP, TCP/IP, USB, and file systems.
• Knowledge in security.
• Background in scalable, lightweight, high-performance systems.
• Familiarity with Agile processes.
• Familiarity with source control systems such as Git.
