What you will do

• Define, assess, and prioritize mainframe modernization roadmaps considering cost and risk.
• Design software frameworks, systems, and products, including system interfaces and business application prototypes.
• Identify and resolve framework design weaknesses and ensure consistent enterprise-wide application design standards.
• Provide technical leadership to the application development team via design and code reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business requirements and project goals.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation covering design processes, component integration, and testing guidelines.

Requirements

• Architectural experience in large customer change and transformation projects.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of hardware and software, including connectivity between platforms.

Nice to have

• Open Group Master Certified Architect (or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience working in a mainframe environment.
• Experience with mainframe project types: Modernize On, Integrate With, and Move Off.
• Strong understanding of z/OS and IBM software products, plus third-party mainframe software.
