What you will do

• Partner with product and engineering teams to identify security risks and provide practical mitigation recommendations.
• Analyze application code, configurations, and logs to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
• Develop automation scripts, security checks, and tooling to enhance security workflows.
• Evaluate vulnerabilities from bug bounty programs and penetration tests, prioritizing risks based on business impact.
• Create secure coding guidelines and developer resources based on recurring security findings.
• Review system designs, authentication models, and authorization controls to prevent abuse scenarios.

Requirements

• 0–2+ years of experience in application security, software engineering, or security operations.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Programming experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Kotlin, or similar languages.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub workflows, including code reviews and pull requests.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, secrets management, and data protection.
• Ability to perform risk assessments based on likelihood and impact.

Nice to have

• Interest in offensive security practices such as web/API testing and exploit development.
• Security certifications or experience in CTFs and bug bounty programs.
