What you will do
- Provide independent primary clinical care and support for youth and vulnerable populations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including mental health, addiction services, and police.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized health care plans.
- Maintain and operate ambulances and medical equipment according to safety protocols.
- Conduct psychological interviews and assessments as part of the care process.
- Document patient care and report data using electronic medical record systems.
Requirements
- Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics as a Primary Care Paramedic.
- Must hold a valid Saskatchewan Class 4 Driver's License.
- Must provide a current clean criminal record check and driver's abstract.
- Must hold current ITLS and CPR C for Health Care Providers certifications.
- Must be physically capable of performing strenuous duties including lifting and bending.
- English proficiency required.
Nice to have
- Community care experience.
- Suicide and violence risk assessment training.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive.
