What you will do

• Build out the core infrastructure for a new product vertical focused on on-chain trading, including new market types and instruments.
• Collaborate closely with experienced quant developers to contribute meaningfully to the engineering surface from day one.
• Participate in planning and direction-setting conversations, directly influencing product decisions.
• Operate in an ambiguous environment where the next phase of development is defined by current outputs.
• Potentially evolve into strategy and market-making work based on personal strengths and interests.

Requirements

• Practical exposure to Rust.
• Engineering experience sufficient to build and ship infrastructure end-to-end without detailed task specifications.
• Demonstrable self-direction and ability to build things independently.
• Comfort and effectiveness in unstructured environments (not suited for large-org execution cultures).
• Ability to engage in both engineering and broader product or business conversations.

Nice to have

• Background in quantitative research, signal development, or market-making.
• Familiarity with on-chain trading infrastructure or DeFi protocol mechanics.
• Experience in an early-stage or zero-to-one build environment.
