Support Engineer (SAP FICO)

TL;DR

Support Engineer (SAP FICO): Providing remote-based support for mission-critical SAP applications with an accent on researching, troubleshooting, and fixing issues in FICO, New GL, AR, AP, and AA. Focus on diagnosing complex issues using ABAP debug, developing break fixes, and optimizing system performance in highly-configured environments.

Location: Hybrid - Must be based in Selangor or Penang, Malaysia

What you will do

• Solve complex customer issues using expert knowledge of SAP functionality and technology.
• Collaborate daily with global clients to understand needs and support business changes.
• Develop application break fixes for critical product defects.
• Create scripts to analyze and correct data issues.
• Act as a technical/functional advisor for key assigned accounts.
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing methodologies and diagnostic tools.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant SAP experience, specifically with SAP FICO modules.
• 6+ years of direct support for application end-users in a corporate environment.
• Proficiency in ABAP for debugging and tracing.
• Expertise in SAP ECC or S/4HANA Finance (New GL, AR, AP, AA).
• English: Fluency required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cash Management, Group Reporting, or Treasury.
• SAP certifications.
• Proficiency in Mandarin.
• Experience with localizations and global implementations.
