Chief Operations Officer (Fintech)

Location: Colombia; hybrid work. Relocation support is available for the employee and family.

What you will do

• Define and execute Colombia’s operational strategy for growth, profitability, and market expansion.
• Build scalable, data-driven processes, KPIs, dashboards, and performance reviews.
• Lead and scale teams across tele-sales, field ambassadors, collections, and operations support.
• Design organizational structures that balance speed, control, and scalability.
• Optimize customer acquisition, retention, conversion, and collections in partnership with Product, Marketing, and other teams.
• Forecast capacity needs, manage operational risks, and support new products, markets, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in operations leadership, ideally in fintech, financial services, marketplaces, or high-growth technology companies in LATAM.
• Experience scaling complex, multilayered operations and leading large, diverse teams and senior leaders.
• Background managing revenue-impacting teams such as sales operations, field teams, or collections.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of operational metrics and unit economics.
• Experience partnering with Product and Engineering on automation and scalability initiatives.
• Conversational English and Spanish required.
