What you will do
- Define and execute the strategy for AI-augmented engineering, including agentic workflows and automated remediation.
- Advise engineering leadership on modern practices, technology strategy, and organizational design.
- Establish non-negotiable standards for quality, security, and engineering maturity across all tribes.
- Design and deploy Engineering Crews to solve critical bottlenecks and upskill teams on advanced technical patterns.
- Lead the Campus team and Practice Guilds to drive peer-to-peer learning and standardization.
- Measure engineering effectiveness using DORA metrics and AI adoption velocity.
Requirements
- 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years leading engineering transformation or developer experience at scale (500+ engineers).
- Proven track record of shifting engineering culture and driving organization-wide technical change.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools like Copilot or Cursor.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, DevOps patterns, and security-by-design.
- Strong product mindset with the ability to use data to prioritize initiatives.
- Must be based in Europe to align with company operations and hybrid requirements.
