What you will do

• Own and drive the creative vision for a new Merge 2 title, aligning it with product goals.
• Architect core game loops, progression systems, and meta-game features from scratch.
• Lead ideation, wireframing, and feature design while translating player behavior into actionable stories.
• Mentor and grow a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and high-execution environment.
• Partner with product, engineering, and art teams to guide features from concept through implementation.
• Use analytics and live feedback to refine game economy, event pipelines, and monetization strategies.

Requirements

• Must be able to work from the Barcelona office at least 2 days per week.
• Extensive experience in a design role within the gaming industry, contributing to multiple released titles.
• Proven track record of leading diverse design teams and successfully shipping games.
• Expertise in crafting core game loops, economies, and meta-designs for live service environments.
• Strong proficiency in mathematical concepts and formula creation for game systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to align stakeholders and team members.
