Technical Product Manager (Fintech)

TL;DR

Technical Product Manager (Fintech/AI): Owning a product vertical end-to-end for a Neobank Superapp in Southeast Asia with an accent on payments, remittance, and regulatory compliance. Focus on shaping technical designs, integrating LLM-based features, and managing complex money-movement systems.

Location: Hybrid (Taipei, Taiwan). Must work from the Taiwan office at least 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Own a product vertical end-to-end, managing outcomes, metrics, and a value-driven backlog.
• Shape technical designs including system boundaries, money-movement correctness, and scalability.
• Manage trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and reliability under pressure.
• Integrate regulated constraints such as KYC, sanctions screening, and data residency as core product inputs.
• Implement AI/LLM features by defining evaluation metrics and ensuring deterministic control over financial data.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, and Finance teams.

Requirements

• Significant experience owning complex technical products end-to-end.
• Strong system design skills, including APIs, datastores, queues, and consistency under concurrency.
• Experience in high-consequence regulated domains (payments, banking, remittance, or insurance).
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and defining ML/LLM evaluation metrics.
• Must be based in Taiwan and able to work from the Taipei office 3+ days per week.
• Strong English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Engineer or highly-technical PM background.
• Experience with zero-to-one product development.
• Prior experience in the Southeast Asian (SEA) market.
