What you will do
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases across the entire SDLC.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Conduct non-functional tests, including performance, load, stress, and security testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to increase coverage and execution reliability.
- Mentor junior test engineers, establish QA standards, and promote a quality-first culture within the team.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing and quality engineering.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Proficiency in REST API and microservices testing using tools like Postman/Newman.
- Exposure to scripting or programming languages such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling and defect tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD principles.
Nice to have
- Experience in banking and financial services testing (e.g., KYC, AML, onboarding systems).
- Experience with security testing tools such as OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite.
- Knowledge of contract testing (Pact) and service virtualization.
- Basic understanding of cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized apps (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with GitOps and DevOps practices.
