Senior Software Engineer - JTX

Full-time/Company: Jito Labs

Jito builds the Market Layer of Solana, providing execution systems, capital markets, and incentive mechanisms that process billions in daily transaction value. They are building JTX, a next-generation trading app focused on speed, trust, and workflow for serious on-chain traders.

Responsibilities:

- Design and build core systems for a new trading product from scratch
- Build low-latency, high-reliability services interacting with Solana’s transaction and block-building pipeline
- Own order routing, execution, real-time market data, and position management infrastructure
- Implement security across transaction signing and user data protection
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to ship quickly and iterate from user feedback
- Make significant architectural decisions as an early team member

Requirements:

- 5+ years of software engineering experience with meaningful distributed systems work
- Strong systems programming skills (Rust preferred; C/C++, Go, or similar acceptable)
- Proven track record building reliable, low-latency production systems
- Security-first mindset (attack surfaces, key management, failure modes)
- Familiarity with Solana runtime, transaction lifecycle, and market microstructure is a strong plus
- Comfortable operating with high autonomy in a 0-to-1 product environment

Nice to have:

- Experience with trading systems, exchange infrastructure, DeFi protocol engineering, fintech backend, or HFT/low-latency systems
