TL;DR
AI Developer (Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Inngest, Supabase): Building and maintaining production-ready AI agents and event-driven automation workflows with an accent on AI orchestration, backend data layers, and full lifecycle ownership. Focus on monitoring agent performance, resolving production failures, designing scalable architectures, and deploying practical AI-powered solutions.
Location: South Africa; remote, with availability required during U.S. Mountain Time business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday.

is supporting a client transitioning into a native-AI agency and building production-ready AI-powered solutions.
What you will do
- Design, build, maintain, and deploy AI agents across the full development lifecycle.
- Build AI workflows and scalable automation pipelines with Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and Inngest.
- Develop event-driven workflows, background jobs, and integrations.
- Manage Supabase databases, schemas, authentication, and real-time functionality.
- Monitor agent logs and performance, resolve production issues, and improve AI capabilities.
- Own AI architecture, tooling decisions, technical documentation, and production quality independently.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional experience building AI agents or AI-powered applications.
- Experience with Claude Code and/or OpenAI Codex for AI development and code generation.
- Working knowledge of Inngest for event-driven orchestration and background jobs.
- Hands-on experience with Supabase, including database design, authentication, and real-time features.
- Ability to work independently as the primary AI developer and make technical decisions with minimal oversight.
- Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM U.S. Mountain Time.
