TL;DR
Principal .NET Engineer (Distributed Systems): Designing and building scalable backend services for digital banking platforms with an accent on distributed architecture and banking integrations. Location: Remote (Must be based in Canada)

What you will do
- Design and build scalable distributed backend services using modern .NET technologies.
- Architect integrations between digital banking platforms, payment systems, identity providers, and core banking applications.
- Lead technical design discussions and influence architectural decisions.
- Build resilient microservices capable of supporting high-volume financial transactions.
- Mentor senior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- Help modernize legacy systems into cloud-native distributed platforms.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Extensive experience building enterprise applications using C# and .NET.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservice architectures.
- Experience with distributed application frameworks such as MassTransit and Azure cloud-native applications.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and enterprise data modeling.
- Must be based in Canada.
Nice to have
- Experience with CQRS and Dependency Injection using Autofac.
- Knowledge of Java Spring Boot or AngularJS.
- Experience with banking or financial services platforms.
- Expertise in event-driven architecture and distributed messaging.
