Salary: €62,000 – €88,000

The Exploration Company is developing modular and reusable space orbital vehicles to democratize access to space.
What you will do
- Own the technical baseline for assigned thruster assemblies, including requirements, interfaces, and qualification logic.
- Maintain a system-level view of fluidic, mechanical, thermal, and electrical interfaces.
- Manage the supplier development path, including hot-fire evidence and flight-hardware decision processes.
- Review supplier deliverables, test results, and inspection evidence to ensure technical maturity.
- Support AIT/MAIT activities, integration, and flight-data reviews.
- Identify and mitigate schedule and delivery risks through proactive technical communication.
Requirements
- Strong background in aerospace, mechanical, or propulsion engineering.
- Experience with spacecraft liquid propulsion hardware, specifically bipropellant thrusters.
- Proven ability to manage technical supplier follow-up for critical components.
- System-engineering judgment across propulsion, GNC, avionics, and safety interfaces.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Ability to work onsite in Bordeaux, France.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in French or German.
- Experience with hot-fire testing and acceptance testing.
