What you will do

• Modernize the C++ software stack, including library and toolchain upgrades.
• Maintain and improve the CMake build system and dependency management using Conan.
• Resolve build issues, compiler warnings, and dependency conflicts.
• Support the creation of Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) and monitor vulnerabilities (CVE).
• Assist in preparing technical documentation for Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) compliance.
• Collaborate within an agile development team using Git.

Requirements

• Must be an enrolled student in Computer Science, Software/Embedded Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid working knowledge of C++.
• Experience with CMake, Conan, and Git.
• Comfortable working on Windows and Visual Studio (MSVC).
• Structured, detail-oriented working style with good documentation habits.
• Good written English required; German is a plus.

Nice to have

• Interest in cybersecurity and compliance.
• Familiarity with SBOM tooling.
• Scripting skills in Python.
