Laboratory Support Technician (Environmental)

What you will do

• Receive and inspect client samples for proper containers, temperature, and preservatives.
• Complete sample receipt forms and document any deviations according to method requirements.
• Label sample containers and organize them in appropriate storage locations.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to communicate issues during the receipt process.
• Fill client requests for sample bottles and assist in sub-contracting samples.
• Support archiving and staging of samples while maintaining laboratory safety.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (required).
• Minimum 6 months of experience in shipping and receiving or a related field.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Charleston, SC.
• Ability to follow precise verbal and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

• Associate’s degree with science or laboratory coursework.
