TL;DR
Senior DevSecOps Engineer (AWS): Safeguarding information security and optimizing CI/CD workflows for an AI-powered healthcare compliance platform with an accent on vulnerability management and security compliance monitoring. Focus on maintaining SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications, optimizing AWS infrastructure, and automating security best practices for containers and Kubernetes.
Location: Hybrid in Vienna, Austria (at least three days per week on-site). Open to remote for exceptional candidates.

What you will do
- Maintain SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications and lead the company through related audits.
- Deliver an efficient, high-performing CI/CD build process.
- Oversee and optimize AWS infrastructure including EC2, VPC, EKS, IAM, and RDS.
- Manage security incidents and promptly address vulnerabilities to minimize risk.
- Respond to IT and security questionnaires from current and potential customers.
- Research and enforce security best practices for containers and Kubernetes across all deployment phases.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in DevSecOps or related engineering fields.
- Proficiency in configuring and maintaining AWS infrastructure.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience leading or participating in SOC 2 and HIPAA audits.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
- English proficiency required for collaboration with a global team.
Nice to have
- Experience managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases.
- Professional certifications such as CSSLP, CISSP, or CISA.
- AWS certification.
