Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Manchester, UK. Role is hybrid with a minimum of 50% of working time per month required in the office.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain scalable services and APIs using C#.
• Build responsive user interfaces using React or Angular.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional Agile team to deliver enterprise backlog items.
• Implement secure development practices and maintain high code quality.
• Utilize CI automation systems like Jenkins for deployment pipelines.
• Work with both relational and NoSQL databases to support platform propositions.

Requirements

• Strong experience in C# development and API design.
• Solid knowledge of relational and NoSQL database systems.
• Experience with React or Angular frameworks.
• Proven track record in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Proficiency with git-based source control and CI automation.
• Must be able to work from the Manchester office at least 50% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ or SQS.
• Knowledge of domain-driven design and design patterns.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Background in e-commerce or financial services.
