What you will do

• Design, develop, and test new features for VA applications using Java and Angular.
• Build and maintain efficient Java-based APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
• Perform system analysis, troubleshoot bugs, and implement software fixes.
• Design graphical user interfaces (GUI) and autonomous services to meet user needs.
• Ensure software compliance standards are met and document development processes.
• Provide guidance on AngularJS upgrades and modernization strategies.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 4 years of experience with Java and core OOP concepts.
• At least 2 years of experience with Angular.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, including stored procedures and DB management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working with the VA.
• Knowledge of PowerBI, CI/CD, IIS, and SSRS.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
