What you will do

• Develop high-quality production code for the Casino gaming platform, setting standards for performance and reliability.
• Define frontend strategy, technical direction, and long-term architecture in partnership with product and design teams.
• Establish and evolve patterns and best practices for frontend development across the organization.
• Lead initiatives from ideation and RFC/POC stages through to documentation and final delivery.
• Mentor and support frontend engineers to raise engineering quality and ownership.
• Communicate technical decisions, trade-offs, and risks to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong frontend focus.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals.
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR), modern frontend architecture, and testing frameworks.
• Proven track record of technical leadership, mentoring, and influencing architecture.
• Experience designing scalable systems and delivering complex initiatives end-to-end.
• Must be based in Melbourne, Australia.
