Salary: $100,000 - $215,000 + equity

What you will do

• Design active and passive thermal control systems using heat transfer and mechanical equations.
• Plan and develop thermal cycle and thermal-vacuum (TVAC) testing campaigns.
• Develop heater and cooling systems, including control architecture.
• Setup and maintain state-of-the-art test stands, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
• Perform tests on novel pump fluid loops, including power electronics and hardware-in-the-loop.
• Create formal technical documentation, including test procedures, reports, and SOPs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of thermal test experience in a high-rate manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of experience sizing and testing fluid systems (pumps, valves, heat exchangers, cold plates).
• Demonstrated experience with data acquisition for thermal and power applications.
• Strong experience with TVAC testing setup, instrumentation, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in NX or AutoCAD for designing test fixtures.
• Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by ITAR regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Thermal Desktop for thermal analysis.
• Knowledge of basic and statistical data analysis.
• Experience with signal conditioning and understanding signal-to-noise ratios.
• Experience testing refrigeration systems or avionics.
