Backend Developer (Python/Django)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain core application logic, databases, and API integrations.
• Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems and database systems on the cloud.
• Write high-quality, secure code and perform profiling to analyze and resolve bottlenecks.
• Develop automated tests to ensure business requirements are met and support regression testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to define and execute the technology roadmap.
• Assess competitor products and suggest improvements to current product lines.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written English proficiency.
• Must be available to work between 9am and 5pm EST or have at least 50% shift overlap.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Django.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong foundation in computer science and algorithms.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake and unstructured databases.
• AI optimization and implementation experience.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Prior remote work experience.
