Power BI & Data Analytics Engineer

Location: Remote in Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, Peru, or Argentina. Working hours: U.S. business hours

What you will do

• Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and automated reports from engineering specifications.
• Design scalable data models and transform time-series, asset, operational, and geospatial data into actionable insights.
• Integrate Esri GIS data, APIs, and multiple business systems into unified reporting solutions.
• Develop automated data pipelines and reporting workflows using Python, Azure, and Azure Fabric.
• Collaborate with engineers to clarify technical calculations, troubleshoot data issues, and improve reporting systems.
• Optimize dashboard performance and deliver infrastructure insights for municipal water utility clients.

Requirements

• Advanced experience developing dashboards and reports with Power BI.
• Strong SQL proficiency for querying, transforming, and modeling data.
• Experience using Python for reporting, automation, or data processing.
• Hands-on experience with Esri GIS and API integrations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Azure Fabric, plus strong data modeling and business intelligence knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience in water utilities, engineering, infrastructure, environmental, or asset management industries.
• Experience developing frontend applications with React or Blazor.
• Familiarity with Reporting Hub, IconMaps, Figma, or ClickUp.
• Experience building automated reporting platforms for enterprise clients.
