Machine Learning Engineer

TL;DR

Machine Learning Engineer (AWS/Python/SQL): Building and deploying predictive AI/ML solutions on AWS using native services and custom models with an accent on data infrastructure, secure data pipelines, and large-scale data lakes. Focus on designing and optimizing end-to-end data flows (including near real-time/IoT ingestion) and using Jupyter Notebooks to build and deploy ML models while supporting multiple teams’ data needs.

What you will do

• Deliver AI/ML projects on AWS to produce predictive insights for customers.
• Design, build, and operate data infrastructure for extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from diverse sources using SQL and big data technologies.
• Optimize cloud RDBMS engines and solve customer security, performance, and operational issues.
• Build and operate large, complex data lakes aligned with functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ingest, store, process, and retrieve data from near real-time events and IoT through unstructured data (images, audio, video, documents).
• Build and deploy ML models using Jupyter Notebooks and leverage AWS AI/ML services; collaborate with architects, project managers, data scientists, and other teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer role.
• Advanced SQL experience and hands-on work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL/Postgres, DynamoDB/Cassandra).
• Hands-on AWS experience (e.g., EC2, RDS, EMR, Redshift) and AWS AI/ML services.
• Experience with big data and streaming tools (e.g., Spark, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Kafka, Kinesis) and scalable data stores.
• Programming experience with Python (plus experience with Java/Scala is expected).
• Experience with ML models for classification/scoring and deep learning neural networks (e.g., CNNs, NLP).

Nice to have

• AWS Machine Learning Specialty certification.
• AWS Solutions Architect - Associate certification.
