What you will do

• Lead and develop the Finance Systems team, including performance management, mentoring, and recruitment.
• Execute the strategic roadmap for finance systems, aligning platform capabilities with business priorities.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring SLAs and system availability while resolving complex technical issues.
• Safeguard financial controls and regulatory compliance to ensure audit readiness.
• Manage key vendor relationships and lead technical discussions for system upgrades.
• Drive transformation and automation across the finance estate while maintaining hands-on involvement in configuration and performance tuning.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with financial systems, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical proficiency in SQL, system integration, and configuration.
• Proven track record as a working manager who leads by example in technical delivery.
• Deep operational knowledge of finance processes and system maintenance.
• Strong project-coordination skills to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• University degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience designing, implementing, or upgrading finance systems solutions.
• Background in fintech, investment management, or trading environments.
• Familiarity with platforms such as AutoRek, FIS Integrity TMS, iRecs, HFM, Essbase, Concur, Sun systems, or Anaplan.
