Quality Control Specialist

What you will do

• Perform in-process and post-production quality checks and testing in compounding suites.
• Conduct line clearances and visual inspections using AQL standards.
• Manage non-conformance, deviation, and complaint investigations.
• Maintain product retain samples and support external manufacturer investigations.
• Document and review records including SOPs, batch records, and COAs.
• Assist with incoming raw material inspections and environmental monitoring programs.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work on-site in New Albany, Ohio.
• B.S. in chemistry, microbiology, biology, quality management, or engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or process engineering.
• Willingness to obtain a Pharmacy Technician license within the first six months.
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA 21CFR 210/211, and USP standards (795, 797, 800).
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50lbs and wearing respiratory protection.

Nice to have

• Experience within a 503b outsourcing facility.
• Aseptic processing experience and knowledge of ISO 14644.
• Experience with facility auditing and statistical trend analysis.
