What you will do

• Develop and maintain modern REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Implement scalable backend services using async programming and high-performance patterns.
• Design and maintain data models using databases and ORMs.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2 and JWT.
• Integrate caching mechanisms such as Redis and implement pub/sub streaming patterns.
• Write and maintain automated tests using pytest or similar frameworks.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python development.
• Proven experience building REST APIs specifically with FastAPI.
• Good understanding of data modelling, databases, and ORMs.
• Experience with async programming and scalable backend architectures.
• Knowledge of modern authentication standards (OAuth2, JWT).
• Experience implementing automated tests using pytest.

Nice to have

• Experience with Flask.
• Familiarity with Redis and pub/sub streaming architectures.
