Staff Security Engineer (AI Security)

What you will do

• Define strategic direction and security frameworks for AI systems at scale.
• Design and implement controls for model training pipelines and inference endpoints.
• Conduct research into emerging AI threats, including prompt injection, model poisoning, and data extraction.

• Develop AI-specific detection rules and response playbooks to monitor anomalous behavior.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to embed secure-by-design workflows organization-wide.

Requirements

• Deep technical expertise in AI security with a track record of novel research and innovation.
• Ability to solve ambiguous security problems in high-paced, evolving environments.
• Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and aligning cross-functional teams.
• Must be based in Australia.
