Associate Production Manager (VFX)

Location: Must be legally eligible to work in British Columbia, Canada

Salary: $70,000 – $83,000 CAD

What you will do

• Map out realistic schedules across departments and track artist progress and quotas.
• Identify and flag bottlenecks, schedule variances, and technical blockers to offer actionable solutions.
• Supervise Production Coordinators and Assistants, delegating administrative tasks and supporting their growth.
• Facilitate efficient dailies and act as a bridge between artists, supervisors, and studio leadership.
• Maintain immaculate data in ShotGrid (Flow Production Tracking) to ensure reliable tracking.
• Manage client deliveries and ensure feedback is distributed to the production floor clearly and quickly.

Requirements

• 3+ years of production management experience specifically within a 3D animation or VFX pipeline.
• Legally eligible to work in British Columbia.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• High emotional intelligence and exceptional organizational skills under high pressure.
• Proficiency with Flow Production Tracking, Google Suite, and Excel.

Nice to have

• Previous experience managing teams on fast-paced episodic television or streaming series.
• Strong interest in workflow optimization and reducing administrative overhead for creative crews.
