Video Artist (6 Month Contract)

Location: Vancouver, Canada; hybrid workplace

Salary: CAD 70,000–80,000 per year

What you will do

• Assist with video editing and content preparation for marketing releases across major game titles.
• Capture gameplay footage and screenshots in Unity across multiple titles.
• Organize and deliver raw captures for efficient use by editors and designers.
• Track in-game events, updates, and content to capture relevant moments proactively.
• Identify bugs, visual glitches, and inconsistencies in development builds.
• Provide occasional support for live stream operations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of video editing experience across short-form and long-form content.
• Working knowledge of game engines or 3D software such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Moderate audio editing proficiency and intermediate motion graphics design and animation skills.
• Interest in game development or marketing and familiarity with hirify.global titles.
