What you will do

• Investigate and analyze security logs and events using hirify.global proprietary tooling.
• Identify, respond to, and neutralize cyber threats within customer environments.
• Document and communicate findings clearly to both technical and executive customer stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement by providing actionable recommendations to minimize customer risk.
• Research emerging exploits, vulnerabilities, and adversary tactics to enhance proactive defense.
• Collaborate with threat hunters, incident response analysts, and engineers in a 24/7 environment.

Requirements

• Must have legal authorization to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in a SOC environment or IT security team.
• Proven experience with threat hunting and endpoint/network security monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS administration and either Linux or Apple operating systems.
• Understanding of incident response procedures and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Willingness to work outside standard business hours, including weekends and holidays.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL query construction and OSQuery.
• Proficiency in SIEM platforms and enterprise security data management.
• Scripting skills, specifically with PowerShell.
