TL;DR
Training Development Lead (Aviation): Designing and implementing the Basic Flight Training program for the Royal Canadian Air Force with an accent on aviation training systems and courseware integration. Location: Moose Jaw, Canada. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and able to obtain Controlled Goods clearance. Remote work is possible within Canada; travel to program sites is required.

What you will do
- Lead the design, review, and validation of aviation training courseware, including simulator and live-flight content.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Astra II aircraft systems and flight operations.
- Collaborate with CQFIs, Instructional Systems Designers, and RCAF representatives to align training solutions with program requirements.
- Support the integration of training devices, IT services, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Oversee infrastructure planning for training centers and facilities.
- Analyze training requirements and identify risks to ensure operational readiness.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of flying experience.
- Proven experience in delivering aviation-related training.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Controlled Goods clearance and Reliability status.
- Ability to travel within Canada as required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Grob 120TP aircraft operations or training.
- Background as an RCAF pilot instructor.
- Experience with simulator technologies and instructional systems design.
- Bilingualism in English and French.
