What you will do

• Architect and evolve high-volume batch and real-time data pipelines using PySpark, SparkSQL, and Databricks.
• Develop end-to-end ingestion and transformation frameworks integrating Snowflake, AWS, and external APIs.
• Lead technical design for complex client implementations, ensuring highly available and fault-tolerant architectures.
• Establish and champion engineering best practices across CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and observability.
• Design security-first data solutions ensuring alignment with HIPAA and SOC 2 requirements.
• Mentor senior and junior engineers while driving technical excellence across the organization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing and operating large-scale, distributed data systems in cloud environments.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Proven experience building production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks or Airflow.
• Strong working knowledge of AWS data services (S3, SQS, Lambda, IAM).
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, Delta Lake, or Kafka.
• Working experience with healthcare data domains (claims, eligibility, clinical datasets).

Nice to have

• Experience in large-scale healthcare payer or analytics environments.
• Exposure to machine learning or advanced analytics workflows.
