TL;DR
Senior Data Engineer (Finance): Building and optimizing the Finance data platform and integrations with an accent on data modeling, pipeline development, and BI reporting. Focus on designing scalable data architectures, implementing complex financial metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve data infrastructure.
Location: Must be based in Tallinn, Estonia (Hybrid model with at least 12 in-office days per month).

What you will do
- Design, build, and optimize elements of the Finance data platform.
- Integrate data flows with ERP, Finance systems, and third-party solutions.
- Implement data models, metrics, and dashboards within the BI platform.
- Analyze and document complex business logic and data structures.
- Proactively solve technical challenges and maintain system reliability.
- Collaborate with Product, Data Platform, and Finance teams to improve infrastructure.
Requirements
- University degree in a technical subject (Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar).
- 2-4 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
- Experience with at least one programming language, preferably Python.
- Strong understanding of engineering best practices including version control, testing, and CI/CD.
- Good English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with distributed data processing (Spark).
- Experience with cloud systems (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools like dbt, Airflow, or Fivetran.
- Understanding of accounting and financial data analytics.
