Salary: $115,900–$152,100 per year

What you will do

• Analyze public and private investment opportunities across credit, equity, structured products, real estate, and other alternative asset classes.
• Research investment situations, review financial and legal documents, and conduct investigative due diligence.
• Develop, update, and maintain bottoms-up financial models and analytical tools.
• Prepare and present investment recommendations, research, and conclusions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive investment processes from initial analysis through execution with appropriate independence.
• Collaborate with colleagues across credit, real estate, private equity, and other investment verticals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2+ years of experience in investment research, turnaround or restructuring consulting, distressed or stressed credit, legal due diligence, or a related role.
• 2+ years of experience with bottoms-up financial modeling and analytical work.
• Ability to evaluate complex investments, capital structures, and business situations.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with stakeholders at all seniority levels.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Boston or New York.

Nice to have

• Experience with public and private investments and alternative asset classes.
• Background in event-driven or fundamental value-oriented investing, distressed or corporate restructurings, turnaround consulting, private equity, or related advisory work.
• Experience with complex situations, difficult negotiations, or businesses undergoing material change.
• Industry or sector knowledge combined with interest in exploring new investment opportunities.
