What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures, enterprise data lakes, and modern warehouse frameworks.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support complex analytics and treasury operations.
• Establish data governance, lineage, and quality control standards to ensure integrity and auditability.
• Design seamless data flows and integration strategies across banking systems and AI/ML pipelines.
• Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and stakeholders to align foundational systems with strategic goals.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, query execution, and indexing strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or Principal Data Engineer with a portfolio of complex enterprise architectures.
• Strong mastery of data modeling methodologies (relational, dimensional, Data Vault, NoSQL) and database engines.
• Deep functional knowledge of cloud-based data solutions (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and ETL/ELT orchestration.
• Direct experience in financial services, corporate treasury, or banking systems.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical designs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Treasury Management Systems (e.g., FIS Integrity, Murex, Kyriba, SAP Treasury).
• Familiarity with financial messaging protocols like SWIFT or ISO 20022.
• Experience with data preparation for machine learning models and vector databases.
• Industry credentials such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, or CDMP.
