What you will do

• Design, build, and ship ML models for content generation and quality evaluation scoring for the elements and template library.
• Own the full ML lifecycle, including data pipelines, training, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Partner with Content Engine, CORE AI Research, AI Media, and Discovery teams to align ML work with broader content strategy.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to model performance, data quality, and production reliability.
• Run experiments to validate ML approaches using clear success metrics before scaling.
• Contribute to engineering standards and tooling to accelerate ML development across the group.

Requirements

• Solid experience building and deploying machine learning systems in production environments.
• Proven ability to own problems end-to-end, from framing and modeling to production maintenance.
• Ability to balance practical tradeoffs between model quality, latency, and cost.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with engineering, product, and content teams.
• Must be based in Australia.
