Cloud Systems Engineer

Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite at the NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan

Salary: $120,000 – $170,000 USD

What you will do

• Evaluate enterprise cloud platforms and services for security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Maintain a catalogue of approved cloud platforms and usage patterns.
• Support development teams in the design and implementation of cloud-enabled workflows.
• Coordinate with Security, Operations, and Infrastructure stakeholders on architecture decisions.
• Define and enforce guardrails for data handling, access control, and auditing.
• Design cost controls, including quotas, usage limits, and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud-native systems and infrastructure architecture.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Git, Pulumi, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and modern platform engineering.
• Strong grasp of enterprise security fundamentals and API integration.

Nice to have

• Games industry experience.
• Experience with AI and LLM platforms or AI gateways.
• Understanding of AI governance and platform risk assessment.
